Life, for me, has always been a continuous classroom. From the day I first stepped into a school as a young English teacher, to the present day where I shoulder the responsibility of leading an entire institution, I have remained a learner at heart. If there is one thread that has consistently run through my journey, it is gratitude towards all the teachers, mentors, colleagues, friends, parents, and students who have shaped me
Every teacher I was blessed with gave me more than subject knowledge; they gave me values that became guiding principles. They taught me discipline, humility, and the strength of character required to stand tall in difficult times. My mentors, at every stage of my professional life, trusted me with responsibilities that at first seemed daunting, but later became turning points in my growth. Their faith reminded me that potential is often discovered when someone else believes in you before you believe in yourself.
My colleagues across schools enriched me in immeasurable ways. Through collaboration and exchange of ideas, they opened my eyes to diverse perspectives. I learnt from their strengths, admired their dedication, and often drew courage from their companionship during testing times. In truth, every staffroom discussion, every planning meeting, every shared challenge was a lesson in leadership, teamwork, and empathy.
Yet, it is perhaps my students who have been my greatest teachers. Their innocence, curiosity, and relentless questioning spirit have kept me rooted in the truth that education is not a finished product but an ever-evolving process. From them, I learnt patience, adaptability, and the art of seeing the world with fresh eyes every day. They reminded me constantly that no matter how many years one spends in education, learning never ends.
Leadership, for me, has never meant standing above others. It has meant walking alongside them, creating opportunities for growth, and learning continuously from each interaction. Every institution I have served whether as a teacher, a head of school, or a principal has gifted me experiences that became milestones on this journey. Each challenge turned into a hidden lesson, each criticism into a mirror, and each achievement into a gentle reminder that I was simply a custodian of collective effort.
Today, as I reflect on more than three decades in education, I realise that my story is not merely one of professional designations or institutional progress. It is, at its core, a story of gratitude. Gratitude towards my teachers, who laid the foundation. Gratitude towards my mentors, who encouraged me to take flight. Gratitude towards my colleagues, who walked the path with me. Gratitude towards my students, who made me believe in the future. And gratitude towards life itself, which continues to teach me new lessons every day.
If I stand here today, it is not because of what I have done alone, but because of the wisdom, love, and trust of countless people who have been part of my journey. With humility, I say ”I am, and will always remain, a student of life."

Our ICT (Information & Communication Technology) teacher, Roshni mam, is a very caring and helpful teacher. She leaves no student-in-doubt behind, assisting each and every one with their queries in great detail.
Our mathematics teacher, Shankari mam, has put great effort into teaching us a variety of topics. She shares us all the necessary material we require for our studies, and engages us in every class.
Our geography teacher, Sreevighnesh sir, is a brilliant and experienced facilitator. He explains each and every topic in great detail, showing us videos, presentations, and worksheets, which I am happy to work on. Admittedly, he's one of my favorites since he doesn't ask us to make physical notes at all.
Last, but not the least, our EVM (Environmental Management) teacher, Teepica mam, details every topic in a simple but clear way, using her self-made notes, videos, and fun group activities to engage us all in her classes.

Every institution I have served in—whether as a teacher, a head of school, or a principal—has gifted me experiences that became milestones on this journey. Today, as I reflect on more than three decades in education, I realise that my story is not merely one of professional designations or institutional progress. I honestly can't thank Prachi ma'am enough for the way she is with my son in school. The patience and understanding she shows every single day is something very rare. She doesn't just “teach†him — she connects with him, understands his little moods, and always puts in her 100%.
What also makes a huge difference for us as parents is the way she communicates with us. Her clear updates and honest feedback keep us reassured and worry-free. We always know how he is doing, and that takes away so much of our stress.
Because of her, my son feels supported, comfortable, and encouraged in his learning journey at school. And as parents, we truly feel blessed to have someone like Prachi ma'am guiding him with such dedication.
